• Wardrobes inside and out, including tracks and mirrors.
• Skirting boards, door frames, light switches and power points.
• Marks and scuffs on walls (spot clean carefully).
• Cobwebs in corners and around windows.

Floors, windows and the finishing touches

• Vacuum and mop all hard floors; consider a professional carpet clean where carpets are involved.
• Windows inside and out where accessible, plus tracks and flyscreens.
• Air-conditioner filters and vents.
• Don’t forget the garage, balcony and any outdoor entertaining areas.
